Cosmetic gold

Frequently asked questions

INDUSTRIAL - SKIN CARE & MAKE UP

Cosmetic gold is an extraordinary ingrredient to creams and treatments and gives the skin an incomparable brightness. It is ideal for making products dedicated to skin care, such as gels, oils and anti-aging creams, as well as for the industrial production of lipsticks, eye shadows, pencils and other eye and face makeup. In addition, cosmetic gold can be inserted into beauty products, such as serums, hair sprays and nail polishes.

Absolutely no. Gold is biologically inert. This means that it does not interact in any way with our body. We recommend, however, to buy only and exclusively gold certified for cosmetic use and free of copper, a potentially harmful metal.

By reducing the thickness of the gold until it is so thin as to be almost impalpable. To be used in the cosmetic field, gold must be produced following strict safety protocols and adhering to all good practices that make it a completely reliable product for application on the skin or for use in cosmetic products for the body care.

In cosmetic productions, gold in shredded form is not used in its maximum purity due to its physical properties. At such thin thicknesses, the 24-carat gold molecules create strong bonds between them, forming non-workable aggregations. Conversely, a composition of 23kt gold contains a small percentage of other metals such as copper or silver, which allows for its perfect use in powder, glitter, and flake formats. The only recommendation is to shake the contents well before use to allow the metal to regain its volume.
