The purest quality

The Beauty Gold cosmetic gold and silver products are produced by Giusto Manetti Battiloro, a leading company in the production of gold leaf and silver leaf.

The Manetti family has been practising the noble art of goldbeating for more than four hundred years. Goldbeaters were craftsmen who, even in ancient times, knew how to transform an ingot into gold leaf so thin that it was almost impalpable. Since 1600, fifteen generations of Manettis have combined artisan tradition and technological innovation to guarantee the highest quality and reliability.

The Beauty Gold range of products is made from controlled and certified (each batch of raw material is accompanied by a certificate attesting its purity) raw materials from responsible sources. The production process rigorously complies with European Parliament Regulation 1223/2009. All gold processing takes place at the Campi Bisenzio production site (Florence, Italy), at a facility with all necessary authorisations for the production and trade of cosmetic ingredients and products.

In order to be used in the industry, cosmetic gold must have a minimum purity of 90% (gold with a minimum purity of 21.6 carats), a silver content not exceeding 7% and a copper content not exceeding 4%. Beauty Gold is more than 96% pure, a much higher level than the minimum requirements; if provided silver is the only other metal it is allowed to contain. In addition to the range of gold products, Beauty Gold also includes a series of silver products, which according to European regulations, must be 99.5% pure. Beauty Gold silver is 100% pure. Therefore, only the noblest of metals are used to produce Beauty Gold: gold and silver.

Product quality is not only determined by the use of prime quality ingredients, but above all by an effectively structured system of procedures and good practices. Beauty Gold range products are made in accordance with a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) system inspired by the international standard UNI EN ISO 22716, so that traceability, production, controls, analysis, the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities and staff training are all defined, controlled and standardised processes.
