The study was conducted with an in vivo analysis, on 20 subjects, to evaluate the sebum-normalizing and mattifying effect of the Beauty Gold silver treatment, comparing the application of the Matte Cream Base alone and in combination with Beauty Gold pure silver leaf. To evaluate the effects accurately, the application of the products was split: one half of the face was treated exclusively with Matte Cream Base, while the other half was subjected to the combination of Matte Cream Base with cosmetic silver leaf by Beauty Gold.

Sebum quantity was measured using the Sebumeter® and skin glossiness was evaluated using the Skin Glossymeter®. All instrumental acquisitions were performed under standardized conditions at 22°C ± 2°C and 50% relative humidity. The instrumental data underwent rigorous T statistical testing (α = 0.05) to ensure the validity of the conclusions.

Sebum (quantity) after 7 hours post-treatment:

• Matte Cream Base: -11.3%
• Matte Cream Base and Beauty Gold’s cosmetic silver leaf: -19.8%

Sebum-normalizing activity was found to be more effective by approximately 75% when using the complete treatment compared to Matte Cream Base alone.

Skin glossiness after 7 hours post-treatment:

• Matte Cream Base: -9.8%
• Matte Cream Base and Beauty Gold’s cosmetic silver leaf: -25.2%.

The effectiveness in reducing skin glossiness was superior by 157% when using the complete treatment.

The tests carried out confirmed not only the effectiveness of Matte Cream Base, but especially the ability of the complete treatment to significantly enhance its effects. The Beauty Gold cosmetic silver leaf proved to be extraordinarily effective in improving the sebum-normalizing activity (-19.8% after 7 hours) and in mattifying the skin (-25.2% after 7 hours ). This complete solution is particularly suitable for people with combination and impure skin, even sensitive ones, who are looking to give their face a matte look without drying out the skin.

The objective results obtained from instrumental analysis are consistently reflected in the subjective evaluations of the 20 participants who underwent the combined treatment of Matte Cream Base and Beauty Gold silver leaf. 100% noted a perception of less shiny, more uniform, and visibly fresher facial skin. All participants were satisfied with the complete treatment and would repurchase it.
