What a great success for Beauty Gold, the undisputed rising star of one of the most exclusive events of the 2021 edition of Milan Design Week. On September 8th, Devon&Devon’s Milan showroom presented the most stunning new additions to its designer home and bathroom collections, with its Golden Twist Cocktail Party.

And with Giusto Manetti Battiloro on hand, the evening’s guests were able to experience the beauty and splendour of gold dust, glitter, flakes and leaves. There were many requests and so much enthusiasm for customised hair and make-up sessions, which made the guests’ looks truly unique by adding an exclusive sparkle.

Beauty, design, and food: beauty becomes golden

The Golden Twist Cocktail Party was an amazing journey of discovery, to get to know everything about gold leaf and the variety of formats.

There was a design space, with a gleaming Mida cast-iron jewel-tub, placed in the centre of Devon&Devon’s beautiful winter garden, creating a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The outer surface was entirely covered in Manetti gold leaf and protected by a transparent synthesised varnish, enchanting the evening’s guests with its magical light.

The toasts were also golden, with sophisticated cocktails and finger food catered by Galateo Ricevimenti, all sparkling with Gold Chef, Manetti’s edible gold and silver dust, crumbs and flakes.

Beauty made in Tuscany

The extraordinary consonance between Giusto Manetti Battiloro and Devon&Devon led to a successful evening. Both are Florentine, and both are in love with the quality and manufacturing tradition of our lands. For decades Devon&Devon’s most precious furniture, mirrors and bathtubs have used only Manetti gold and silver leaf, applied by hand by the best gilding maestri.
